1期待的英语演讲

就在一个月前，我和郑凯慧意外的被选为参加英语演讲比赛。

第一个任务就是自我介绍。天哪我连最简单的写作，写短短的一片英语作文都不会，还叫我写自我介绍，这不是比登天还难吗？我只好硬着头皮自己写一点，网上翻译一点，东拼西凑出一篇文章。之后，我便尝试着一点一点的背诵。可开头就把我给难住了：小学的英文叫做“elementary school”这么长的英语单词可怎么读呀！

我又是问老师又是查电脑，终于把它克服了！之后，我又是准备十篇文章，又是读书本上的英语小短文，所有的一切都准备好了，就只差东风了！12月11日，我怀着忐忑不安的心情出发了。很快，我们就到达了目的地。在准备的报告厅里，人声鼎沸，一会儿从东面传来“Hello，every one。”一会儿西面又高呼 “My name is…”。

这使我这颗本来就没做好准备的心怦怦直跳。在准备的过程中，我心不在焉，一心只注视着别人的一举一动。终于轮到我了，在比赛室外的那一分钟等待，可把我折磨透了。一会儿传来比赛者清脆的声音，一会儿又听见评委老师的窃窃私语。但是，当我一步入比赛现场，我倒不那么紧张了，从刚开始的自我介绍声音颤抖不一，到最后的流利平稳，似乎在这短短的七八分钟里有了翻天覆地的变化。

终于我的比赛结束了。从小屋里走出来的一瞬间，我真的长舒了一口气。不管结果怎么样，这都不是最重要的，不管有没有晋级，这都是对我英语水平的锻炼，是对我的肯定。我一定会继续努力的！

2英语演讲

今天，妈妈带我去一个英语培训学校去参加英语演讲，那是一个专门培训英语的机构。

到了学校，只见选手们都在休息区域在认真地练习。而妈妈先带我到了签到处，我们拿了一张表格填写了一些基本内容，并拿了一个编号。接着，那里的老师说让我到休息区域再去准备一下，等一会儿会有老师来通知的。于是，妈妈就带我到了休息的地方，妈妈就从包里给我拿出事先准备好的稿纸，我就在那里读了几遍。然后，我又背了一遍，让妈妈给我指点一下。并在容易出错的地方，又巩固了一下。

就这样，我一边练习着，一边等待着。心里真是紧张呀！

Youth

Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years . We grow old by deserting our ideals.

Years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . Worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .

Whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being „s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what‟s next and the joy of the game of living . In the center of your heart and my heart there‟s a wireless station : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .

When the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80. That‟s all ! Thank you!

4英语演讲比赛

学校组织了一次英语演讲比赛，我其实很想参加，毕竟这是锻炼自己的好机会，但是我缺少勇气，我的朋友鼓励我参加，我终于决定报名。

周六进行初赛，来到演讲的地方，我有些紧张，环顾了一下四周，人数并不是很多，我之前参加过英文歌曲大赛，比现在的人要多，当时我在那么多人的面前都唱歌，想到这就没那么紧张了。

比赛开始了，我认真的听参赛者的稿子，认真的注视选手的动作。有的同学准备了ppt和背景音乐，而且语气抑扬顿挫，十分有活力。

到我了，我站在台上，有些紧张，刚才想到的手势和具体的表情忘的一干二净，稿子背的也不熟练，虽然我准备了三天，但结果还是很遗憾，但是我也学到了东西，知道了别人是如何演讲的，我也有了经验，如果还有这种比赛，我还会参加的，我是不会那么容易被打败的！失败，别以为我怕了你！
